As you are getting older, you are going to be exposed to two major opinions about time. The first one is a lethargic voice, that will keep you stuck, which sounds like this: “You are too old and therefore it is pointless to start anything new.” And the second one is stirring up this urgency by telling you that: “You need to get this done as soon as possible, because time is running out.”
Trick question: which one is better? Well, nobody can predict the future, so there is no right or wrong in this case. I think both of these mindsets are not helpful and will prevent you from making optimal choices for yourself. You don´t know what is going to happen. What if you have plenty of time left, to do whatever you want? That would be a great third option.
