Why blood? For me it´s a common thing. I often get intensive nosebleeds, if I am overwhelmed or physically exhausted. Blood is nothing special or scary for me. But I get a kick out of selecting this medium, knowing that I can freak people out. Painting with blood is a provocative gesture and is showing off my extremely black, gory humor which is not going to be appropriate for the rest of the world. So what? I can use it to push art viewers to their limits and blow up peoples narrow worldview.

Warum Blut? Für mich ist das eine ganz gewöhnliche Sache. Ich bekomme oft intensives Nasenbluten, wenn ich überfordert oder körperlich total erschöpft bin. Blut hat also für mich nichts Unheimliches. Doch die Sache wird dann spannend, wenn man weiß, dass Leute aufgrund dieses Materials ausrasten werden. Malen mit Blut ist damit eine provokante Geste und zeigt offensiv meinen extrem schwarzen Humor, der für den Rest der Welt nicht angemessen sein wird. Na, und? Ich kann damit Kunstbetrachter an ihre Grenzen bringen und deren enges Weltbild aufsprengen.
